Hubei Women's Federation recently provided training, to help cadres with women's federations, at all levels in Hubei, improve their ability to help women protect their rights and interests. The event was held in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei Province.
Organizers presented the plan of Hubei Women's Federation to improve Hubei's work mechanism for protecting women's rights and interests, to provide legal assistance to women in need, including those who are victimized by domestic violence and/or other illegal acts.
Organizers also stressed greater efforts should be made to cultivate cadres of women's federations (at all levels in Hubei), who are dedicated to protecting women and children's legal rights and interests, and to encourage the cadres to help solve problems that affect the protection of women's rights and interests.
Organizers invited officials and legal experts, from the All-China Women's Federation and various departments and organizations in Wuhan, to provide lectures, to help the trainees better understand the laws and regulations, especially those pertaining to the protection of women and children's legal rights and interests.
Cadres with Shiyan, Yichang, Xianning and Enshi women's federations shared their experiences in helping women and children protect their legal rights and interests.
